I (or rather, my alter ego Michelle Maddox) has received her first review of COUNTDOWN and, wow, it's a great one! Check out the full review at Ramblings on Romance.
Cool!
So I survived being Maid of Honor in my sister's wedding. Other than the torrential rain on Saturday, it was fairly perfect. She and her new DH are off to Mexico today. For some reason, they said I couldn't join them. Hrmmphh!

Cindy and Mike gave me Coach handbag in thanks for me helping out with the graphic design bits and pieces of the wedding. I used to buy expensive accessories all the time, but that's been on hold a bit this year as I transition to life as a full-time writer.
I'm a total Coach bag ho now. I love it. I already have a small black one but I bought it on the sidewalks of NYC if ya know what I mean. And I mean that it's a knock-off. This one, however, is the real deal.
I got a little sidetracked with my writing the last couple weeks with the wedding and waiting on some writing-related news. Today I'm actually working on a new project. It's a darker-toned YA that evolved from a different proposal altogether. While I wait on various ducks to align, I will work on this.
And possibly I'll be seeing Ironman some time today. It's all good.
"I found it very hard to put down and on more than one occasion I was late back from my lunch and breaks at work...It was fast-paced, a thrill of a run and a great love story all combined into one. It was like nothing I’ve ever read before"

Good luck with the new project!!
And niiiiicceee bag. :D
I've only heard good things about Iron Man, I wanna see it too.
Good luck on getting back on track. My head is all jumbled up like normal. Heh.
Well, don't expect something insanely brilliant or something, but I love it. I think it has it's brilliant moments. :D
This quote is from the finale of ses. 2, and it's a bit sad but it's brilliant. And the way she delivers it. Ouch.
Did I know you'd joined livecrack?
Anyway...Caroline went to a couple of those "purse parties" and by "purse parties," I do mean that she and her friends dressed in black and wore pantyhose over their heads while they hustled in and out of an unmarked semi. Or at least that's what I choose to believe.
She came home with a "Frauda" a "Cooch" and even a "Kate Spud" to hear her tell it. When I went to Korea a while back I snagged one of those quilted black calf "Channel" purses for her, Koko would have been proud, or perhaps prowed.
Cheers to your Sis!
